Ignorant GFA Exco member claim Baba Yara pitch is now better than that of San Siro
Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council (Exco) member, Sammy Anim Addo has ignorantly claimed that the pitch at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium is in pristine condition than that of San Siro.
The allusion is not only braggadocios but goes to heap praise on an undeserving National Sports Authority (NSA) that has continuously failed in maintaining national stadiums in the country,
“The pitch, NSA, Frank Boahen, and the government have produced for us, it’s now better than San Siro,” Anim Addo told Wontumi TV in an interview.
The GFA Exco member continued, “When they go wrong I bash them, so if they do will let’s praise them, they’ve done a good job
“I want to mention Emmanuel Dasoberi too, he’s done a great job for us.”
The Baba Yara Sports Stadium will on Friday, March 25, 2022, host the first leg of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers playoff game between Ghana and Nigeria.
The epic clash between the Black Stars and the Super Eagles is scheduled to kick off at 19:30GMT.
