“It was not a fair result”- claims Kosta Papic after Legon Cities stalemate
Hearts of Oak Coach Kosta Papic has expressed his dissatisfaction following their 1-1 draw with Legon Cities on Sunday.
Kojo Obeng Junior struck in the 86th minute to snatch a late point for the Phobians after Jonah Attuquaye had shot Cities in the lead early in the first half.
Before that, Umar Manaf blew a golden opportunity to put Hearts in the driving seat on the 15th minute.
The young attacker missed a penalty kick after Patrick Razak was adjudged to have been pushed in the box.
In the end, Hearts of Oak had to settle for a point against their city-rivals at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“It was not a fair result at all. Three matches and we haven’t scored a goal and the penalty was not good for us. We will manage and come better in our next match” Kosta Papic told reporters after the match.
“When you are criticizing the team you must criticize everybody and not just one person. It’s a long term project we are working here at Hearts of Oak. We are going to prepare with the two weeks break. I am very disappointed at this result”.
