It was something special – FC Lens defender Kevin Danso on playing against Paris Saint Germain

Austria-born Ghanaian Kevin Danso has described playing against French giants Paris Saint Germain as something special.

The 23-year-old featured when FC Lens held PSG to a 1-1 draw in the first round of the French Ligue 1 last year.

Danso, who has been explosive since joining the club from German club Augsburg says playing against PSG was special, something he had wanted to experience.

‘You play football for games like this, and as a child you dream of measuring yourself against the best. It was something special, I wanted to experience the level, see how I could hold up against it”

“The ease and security with which they act on the ball is unbelievable. Still, we could have won. Then comes the 90 minutes. But you can’t defend everything against them” he said.
