‘It was the best team I could wish for’ – Otto Addo praises Black Stars technical team members
Ghana head coach Otto Addo has heaped praise on the Black Stars’ technical team, insisting that it is the best team he could have wished for.
For Ghana’s playoff tie in the qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Otto Addo played the head coach role as he worked with George Boateng and Didi Dramani as his two deputies.
To strengthen the technical team, the coaches had the support of experienced tactician Chris Hughton who was named as the technical advisor.
At a visit to the Jubilee House on Wednesday, Otto Addo applauded the efforts of the coaches.
“It was the best team I could wish for. I’m very happy the President set us up. It was excellent working with them. Thank you for the good job,” Coach Otto Addo noted.
He further heaped praise on the staff of the national team that played various roles to help the Black Stars qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
“We are looking forward for it. I want to thank the staff. They worked a lot. They helped us. The kit man, they all worked hard. Thank you very much for your success,” Coach Otto Addo added.
