It’s my job to find the right moment for Kevin-Prince Boateng – Hertha Berlin boss Tayfun Korkut
Hertha Berlin new trainer Tayfun Korkut has said it is his job to find the right moment for Kevin-Prince Boateng at the club.
The 34-year-old is yet to hit the ground running since making a return to his boyhood club in the summer transfer window.
He is yet to score or assist a goal in 10 appearances for the Berlin based club.
Ahead of Hertha Berlin’s game against Armenia Bielefeld on Saturday, the gaffer who gave the Ghanaian forward some minutes in their 2-2 draw against Stuttgart last weekend says it is his duty to find the right moment for him at the club.
“In Stuttgart we brought Kevin into play at the right time. We had the game under control and it’s now my job to find the right moments for Prince” he said.
Managing Director Fredi Bobic added, “As the trainer said, now it’s time to find the right moments for him. But we also need him off the pitch; his experience is good for the team. “
“Prince Boateng has “come a long way, he fell and got up. It has the story of a street football player and it is extremely important to us” he said.
