Jindo Morishita becomes the first Japanese to feature in the Ghana Premier League

Japanese striker Jindo Morishita made history by becoming the first Japanese to play in the Ghana Premier League.

The attacker played his first match for Ebusua Dwarfs on Friday, 9 April 2021, as second half substitute in their 1-1 draw against Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League.

The 25-year-old was introduced on the  64 minutes to replace Obed Bentum as they were held at the Cape Coast Stadium .

He joined the Cape Coast on a one-year deal after leaving Zambian side Maestro United Zambia (MUZA).

Micheal Asamoah gave the home side the lead before Clement Boahene restored parity to ensure his side return to Techiman with a point.
