Jordan Ayew should have been Asamoah Gyan's replacement – Dan Quaye

Former Hearts of Oak star Dan Quaye has said Jordan Ayew should have become a constant source of goals in the absence of Asamoah Gyan.

Since the exclusion of Gyan from thew Black Stars, Ghana has struggled with goal scoring

The team has experimented with several players but none of them has been able to make the position his own.

Gyan is the all-time topscorer for Ghana with 51 goals and with 6 goals, he is the top African goal scorer at the FIFA World Cup.

In an interview with Sylvester Ntim of Aben FM, Dan Quaye expressed his disappointment in the Crystal Palace attacker, saying he should have been Gyan’s replacement.
