JUST IN: Super Eagles starting XI vs Ghana
Nigeria have announced their starting XI for their 2022 World Cup qualifying showdown against the Black Stars in Kumasi on Friday evening.
The match is scheduled to kick off at the Babayara Stadium at exactly 7:30 pm.
Super Eagles coach Austin Eguaveon has opted for the 4-4-2 formation with Uzoho in goal in the absence of Maduka Okoye.
Aina starts at right back, Troost-Ekong and Leon Balogun at the heart of defense and Sanusi at left back.
Aribo maintains his position in central midfield while Bonke replaces injured Ndidi in the starting 11.
Moses Simon and Chukwueze will operate on the left and right flanks respectively while Iheanacho and Osimhen spearhead the attack.
Nigeria XI vs. Ghana: Frank Uzoho, Ola Aina, Zaidu Sanusi, Leon Balogun, Troost- Ekong, Innocent Bonke, Joe Aribo, Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Kelechi Iheanacho, Victor Osimhen.
