Veteran coach JE Sarpong believes highly rated Ghanaian forward Kamaldeen Sulemana is following the footsteps of Ghana ace Asamoah Gyan following his big money move to Stade Rennes.
The 19-year-old signed a five-year contract to move from Danish club Nordsjaelland to the French side in a deal reportedly worth €21 million.
The deal is a straight cash deal that will give Nordsjaelland an immediate amount of €16 million with a further €5 million to be added depending on the appearances the winger-cum-striker makes for the French side.
He became the fourth Ghanaian player to join Rennes after his move. Asamoah Gyan, John Boye and John Mensah all featured for the club.
