Kamaldeen Sulemana is Super League most expensive ever

Last year, Mohammed Kudus, Mikkel Damsgaard, Mustapha Bundu, Oliver Abildgaard and a couple of players were sold for solid millions in the transfer window from August to October, but the large amounts did not bring in the talented players overall.

With 75 million kroner, Kudus was the most expensive man, and already with a couple of days left in the transfer window and Jens-Lys Cajuste still in FC Midtjylland, the Superligaen had sold for more than double this summer 2021.

So who has really been the most expensive?

Last season, Rennes played in the Champions League, and Sulemana will help the Breton club back in the same tournament.

It looked like a move to Ajax for a long time, but Sulemana changed his mind and now has to duel with Lionel Messi’s PSG and several other traditional teams, while Ajax instead picked up Mohamed Daramy.

Kamaldeen Sulemana will be the Super League’s most expensive ever if the conditions for payment of up to a further five million euros are met.

The Super League’s most expensive game ever, not least if the extra five million euros in transfer payments are triggered.
