Karim Zito maintained as U20 head coach on latest technical team reshuffle
In a latest reshuffle of the technical teams of the national teams by the Executive Council of the Ghana FA, Abdul Karim Zito has been maintained as the head coach of the Ghana’s U20 side, the Black Satellites.
Zito’s experience and undiluted competence as the head coach of the Black Satellites saw him guide the team to win the U20 AFCON in Mauritania last month.
The Dreams FC Technical Director had earlier guided the team to lift the WAFU Zone B U20 Championship held in Benin in December last year.
Zito until his appointment as the U20 head coach last year was the head coach of the Black Starlets (U17) and has also been the head coach of the Black Meteors before.
He will be assisted by Hearts of Oak gaffer Samuel Boadu who was previously the head coach of Ghana’s U15 side.
Boadu replaces Karela United head coach Augustine Evans Adottey who as assistant to Zito.
The former Medeama SC trainer is the only addition to the technical team as all other members of the team have been maintained.
The new technical team of the Black Satellites will, thus, be as follows:
Abdul Karim Zito – Head Coach
Samuel Boadu – Assistant Coach
Abdul Fatawu Salifu – Assistant Coach
Jerry Asare – Goalkeepers Trainer
Dr. Opare Anim – Team Doctor
Roy Ricky Romeo – Physical Trainer
Gilbert Yankson – Physiotherapist
Emmanuel Tagoe – Welfare Officer
