Kevin Prince Boateng opens up on his spell with Barcelona

Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng has opened up on his spell with Spanish giants, Barcelona.

The 34-year-old had a short stint with the Catalans in 2019 where he won the Spanish La Liga title with the club.

According to him, though things did not go as expected but said it was a huge experience to play for such club.

“My agent called and said: Barcelona want me. I thought: I still have it,” he said, and added, knowing that he was not playing for the Catalans: “Of course, things didn’t go as I had hoped “I didn’t play much. Still, at 32, it was a huge experience to play for such a club.”

Meanwhile, the former AC Milan star has explained why he has tattooed Hertha Berlin’s flag, “I tattooed the flag because I want people to know that this club is everything to me. They gave me the chance to become a professional,” said Boateng.
