King Faisal owner Alhaji Grusah, coach Nurudeen Amadu confident about relegation survival

Owner and bankroller of King Faisal, Alhaji Grusah and coach Nurudeen Amadu is confident the club will maintain their Ghana Premier League status at the end of the campaign.

The Isha Allah boys who had a descent start to the campaign are currently struggling having gone five games without a win.

They lost 1-0 to Berekum Chelsea in their outstanding Ghana premier League match at the Baba Yara Stadium last Thursday.

Speaking after the game, Alhaji Grusah expressed his displeasure about the current situation of the club but insisted they will maintain their Premier League status.

“We will escape relegation at the end of the season. People thought we would be relegated last season but it didn’t happen, we have about 11 games to end the campaign and we hope to change the narrative”

Coach Nurudeen Amadu has therefore backed Alhaji Grusah for the club to survive.

“Our current situation is worrying but we will fight to escape relegation. I can’t explain the recent happenings in the team but I think we are in tough times and it happens to every club at some point in time”

King Faisal sits 11th position on the league table with 29 points after 24 matches into the season.
