Kotoko score 4 in the GPL for the first time in 1,774 days
After a long wait for a goal-fest, Kumasi Asante have scored four goals in the Ghana Premier League for the first in 1,774 days.
The Porcupine Warriors through goals from Ismail Ganiyu, Fabio Gama, Andy Kumi, and Michael Vinicius routed Bechem United 4-0 at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium in their outstanding Ghana Premier League encounter.
The game was new Head Coach Mariano Barreto’s first game in charge of the Ghana Premier League Giants.
Today’s result in context means this was the first time since 2016 where Kotoko has put 4 past an opponent in the Ghana Premier League.
The last time Kotoko scored 4 against a Ghana Premier League opponent was on May 29th, 2016 where they beat Techiman City by 4-2 in a Game week 15 encounter.
