Kotoko sever ties with defender Wahab Adams

Footballghana.com can officially report that Asante Kotoko have severed ties with defender Wahab Adams.

The stalwart defender in the 2020/2021 Ghanaian football season lost his place in the team first team.

Although he managed to play in a handful of matches, he was not the preferred choice and continuously grew frustrated during the bench warming duties.

As a result, in the weeks leading to the climax of the season, it was reported that he was looking to terminate his contract with Asante Kotoko at the end of the campaign.

Today, the contract between the player and the Ghana Premier League giants has officially been terminated.

He leaves that club after refusing to see out his contract that would have ended in December 2022.

According to inside sources, Wahab Adams through his representatives requested for the contract terminated as the player looks forward to moving on to a new challenge in the 2021/2022 football season.
