“Kotoko will forever remain in my heart” – Kwame Opoku bids Kotoko farewell
Kwame Opoku has bid Asante Kotoko an emotional farewell following the confirmation of his imminent move to Algeria side MC Algers.
The former Nkoranza Warriors will signed a four-year deal with the Algerian side following a successful negotiations with the Ghanaian club.
Opoku is expected to join the North African side after Ghana’s AFCON qualifier against South Africa and Sao Tome later this month.
In an emotional message on his Twitter account, the striker thanked the club for the believe and confidence they had in him during his stay with the team.

The 21-year-old has been a key member of the Asante Kotoko since he joined in February 2020.
Opoku joined Asante from Division One League side Nkoranza Warriors before the commencement of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League after announcing his goal scoring prowess with the BA-based side.
He scored 8 goals in 16 matches for the Porcupine Warriors.
