Kudus Mohammed keeps the Ajax party going after netting in win
Ghanaian international Kudus Mohammed ensured that already crowned Eredivise Champions, Ajax, kept their title celebrations going as they defeated Venlo in the penultimate game of the season.
Kudus who joined Ajax last summer was part of the team that was crowned champions for the current season with just a few games to spare.
The club since then has been celebrating their success and appreciating their fans in a grand style.
Ajax announced that all 42,000 of the club’s season-ticket holders will receive a star weighing 3.45g, 0.06g of which has come from the trophy.
And the playing body ensured they kept the celebration alive and brought more joy to the fans by defeating Velno by 3-1.
Kudus Mohammed netted the club’s third goal in the 77th minute despite playing with a man down for most of the second half of the game.
The goal took his tally for the season to five, having bagged three assists already.
Kudus Mohammed is expected to join up with the Black Stars squad which plays Ivory Coast and Morocco next month.
