LATEST: Raddy Ovouka ‘free’ to play for Hearts again

Accra Hearts of Oak defender Raddy Ovouka Hotemba is now eligible to play for the club again after issues with his work permit has been fully sorted.

The Congolese left back has missed the club’s last three games (Aduana Stars, AshantiGold SC and Inter Allies), with the expiry of his work permit given as a reason for this.

Subsequently, club officials have paced through the process of renewing his work permit, as FMIG can confirm he is now free to feature for the Phobians in their upcoming fixtures.

Ovouka has made a name as arguably the best left back in the Ghana Premier League after making the left flanks his own at Hearts.

The 21 year old, full of energy pace and unbridled talent has so far made 17 appearances for the Phobians as they chase their first league title triumph in ten years.

His availability will be a welcome boost for Head Coach Samuel Boadu as Hearts prepare for play Karela United away, on Sunday.

Hearts currently lie 4th on the league log on 33 points, 2 adrift of league leaders Asante Kotoko.
