Let’s support Hasaacas Ladies to win the trophy – First Lady pleads with Ghanaians

The First Lady of Ghana, Rebecca Akufo-Addo has urged Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies to win the maiden CAF Women’s Champions League.

The Ghanaian club will face South African side, Mamelodi Sundowns in the final later this evening at the 30 June Stadium, Cairo

Mrs Akufo-Addo has shown immense supports to Hasaacas Ladies since their triumph in Abidjan in the WAFU Zone B Championship.

On a Facebook post ahead of the game, she had an interaction with the team and they assured her of winning the trophy.

“A few hours ago, I spoke to the coach, management and playing body of this wonderful team HASAACAS LADIES F C. I wished them well, on behalf of all of us. They assured me they will bring the cup home. Let’s all pray and cheer them on to victory. Doooooooooooooooo,” she posted.

Hasaacas Ladies will play Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies at 17:00 GMT.
