Levski Sofia in talks with agent of Nasiru Mohammed over unpaid entitlement issues
Bulgarian outfit, Levski Sofia are in talks with the agent of Ghana attacker Nasiru Mohammed to pay him less than what they owe.
Nasiu Mohammed, 27, joined Levski Sofia in 2019 and left the club in 2021. He was presented with a pay cut offer in 2020 after the Covid-19 pandemic impacted the finances of the club but turned it down.
Footballghana.com at the end of the 2020/2021 football season reported that the forward has opted to terminate his contract with the Bulgarian team due to unpaid salaries and some bonuses.
True to that report, Nasiru Mohammed left the club and has since signed for BK Hacken.
Today, sources have reported that although officials of Levski Sofia are keen on settling the money matters with the player, they have opened talks with his agent where they are asking for a reduction.
Talks are currently progressing well according to reports with Levski Sofia hoping to pay half a million less.
