Libyan giants Al Ahli Tripoli tables $15,000 to sign midfielder Benjamin Afutu – Reports
Out-of-contract Hearts of Oak midfielder Benjamin Afutu could join Libyan giants Al Ahli Tripoli to continue his career.
The enterprising midfielder contract with the Phobians has expired and is yet to sign a new deal with the Ghanaian giants.
He was instrumental for the club in the 2020/21 season as the rainbow boys clinched double.
Hearts of Oak won both the league and the MTN FA Cup titles respectively.
According to Kumasi-based Light FM, Al Ahli Tripoli have tabled a $15,000 to sign the Ghanaian midfielder.
But it is unknown whether Afutu will extend his contract with Hearts of Oak or depart for greener pastures.
