Luis Suarez advises Atletico Madrid teammate Joao Felix to enjoy fantastic season until the World Cup

Atletico Madrid defeated Alaves 4-1 with goals from Joao Felix and Luis Suarez, putting an end to a difficult encounter for Diego Simeone’s side.

The Portuguese attacker was the outstanding player on the pitch, and even his offensive partner, Luis Suarez, praised his form. The Uruguayan international, on the other hand, used the chance to make a wish.

“We will continue like this, ace, but only until the World Cup,” said Suarez on social media.

Uruguay and Portugal will face off in Group H of the 2022 World Cup, with a match expected on November 28 at Al Rayyan’s Education City Stadium. The other teams in the group are Ghana and South Korea.

Ghana’s game against Uruguay has been labeled as “Revenge Time” by Ghanaian football fans due to Luis Suarez’s deliberate handball against Ghana 12 years ago in the 2010 World Cup.  Some retired Black Stars players in a recent interview with BBC revealed that they haven’t forgotten that incident.

Ghana will play Uruguay on 2nd December 2022  at the Al Janoub Stadium in Doha.
