Match Report : Berekum Chelsea 1-1 Medeama SC – Prince Opoku Agyemang scores to earn Medeama a point at Berekum
Medeama SC three game winning run was brought to an halt following their 1-1 draw away against Berekum Chelsea.
The Mauve and Yellow side after going down in the first half through Stephen Amankona were able to share the spoils following a second half strike from Prince Opoku Agyemang.
The host had a bright start to the game and took the lead on the 21st minute, Skipper Stephen Amonkona broke the deadlock of the game with a fine finish.
It could have been 2-0 few minutes later but Eric Ofori Antwi did well to stop Stephen Sarfo’s effort.
The visitors despite coming into the game at the later stage of the first half couldn’t find the back of the net as the home team went to the break ahead .
After the break, the visitors continued from where they left off putting a lot of pressure on the home team.
Prince Opoku Agyemang restored parity for the Medeama on the 70th minute with good a good finish in the penalty box.
The visitors held on to make sure they returned to Tarkwa with a point.
