Match Report : Chelsea 2-1 Ebusua Dwarfs – Kofi Owusu’s late strike complete Bibires comeback
Berekum Chelsea continued their unbeaten home record by coming back from a goal down to beat Ebusua Dwarfs at the Golden City Park.
Two second half goals from Anokye Badu and Kofi Owusu propelled the Bibires to a hard fought victory.
It was the visitors who took the lead in the 14th minute, Enoch Afram latched home great finish to silent the home fans.
Chelseea reacted very well and began to make incursions.
Kofi Owusu came close to getting the equalizer but his shot went wide.
Despite creating a lot of chances in the first half, Chelsea failed to grab the equalizer.
After the break, Chelsea came all out pilling pressure on the visitors looking for the equalizer.
Stephen Anokye Badu headed home on the 52nd minute to restore parity for the host.
Chelsea kept pushing for the winner as the visitors kept it tight at the back.
The host pressure paid off on the 82nd minute, Kofi Owusu grabbed the winner to complete his side comeback.
Chelsea held on to their lead till the blast of the final whistle.
