Match Report: Ebusua Dwarfs’ winless run extends after Eleven Wonders stalemate
Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs’ winless run continues following a 1-1 stalemate against Eleven Wonders.
Dwarfs welcomed the Techiman-based side to the Cape Coats Stadium for the first game of Match Week 19 of the Ghana Premier League in Friday.
Prior to the match, Dwarfs had gone without a win in their last two games and sought to halt the run against Eleven Wonders, who were poor on the road.
The home side got off to a flyer as they netted early in the game. Midfielder Michael Ohene Asamoah registered his name on the score sheet when he put the home side ahead after 13 minutes.
The midfielder drive through a crowd of Eleven Wonders players into the box and unleashed a right footed shot that Wonders goalie John Moosie failed to save.

The goal looked to have set the home side in motion for a win until their joy and aspirations suffered a blow.
2 minutes after their goal, Dwarfs conceded an equalizer with Eleven Wonders finding the net through Clement Boahen.
The attacker was clean through on goal after a delightful defence splitting pass from the middle. With appreciable composure, Boahen stole the lead over his marker and delivered a low shot pass the on rushing Dwarfs goalie to level affairs.

The game’s tempo cooled off gradually as the first half ended with the score still 1-1.
Back from recess, neither side was able to add to their tally despite creating some decent chances with the game subsequently ending in a 1-1 stalemate.
Failure to get a win compounds Dwarfs’ worries while Eleven Wonders will leave for their base more satisfied with picking a valuable away point.
Despite not winning, Ebusua Dwarfs increase their point tally to 24 and move up the table to 8th. Their position though could change depending on the outcome of the other weekend matches.
Eleven Wonders still lie 14th on the league log on 22 points now.
Other Match Week 19 matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday.
