Match Report : Eleven Wonders 1-0 Legon Cities – Wonders end Royals unbeaten run
Legon Cities seven games unbeaten run was brought to an end following their 1-0 defeat to Eleven Wonders on Sunday.
A second half strike from Michael Osei was enough to give Ignatius Osei Fosu’s side’s the maximum points.
Legon Cities had numerous chances in the first half but couldn’t find the back of the net.
Both Baba Mahama and Hans Kwoffie came close breaking the deadlock but their effort
The first ended goaless.
Wonders started the second half very strong as they aim to take the lead.
Samuel Boakye nearly found the back of the net but his shot went wide.
The home teams effort paid off with Micheal Osei giving them the lead on the 68th minute, the young player finished superbly to put his side ahead.
Eleven Wonders maintained their lead till the blast of the full-time whistle.
