Match Report – Eleven Wonders 2-1 Bechem United – Alex Asamoah on target as Wonders defeat Hunters at Techiman

Eleven Wonders defeated Bechem United 2-1 to continue their fight for survival.

Two first half goals from Tetteh Nortey and Alex Asamoah were enough to hand Wonders a hard-fought win.

The host were awarded an early penalty just three minutes into the game following a handball in the penalty box.

Tetteh Nortey stepped up and sent the keeper the wrong way.

Wonders kept on creating chances looking for the second, but the visitors defended very well.

Wonders got their second through veteran striker Alex Asamoah, the striker finished home across in the penalty box to make it 2-0.

After the break, the visitors lifted their performance looking to reduce the deficit.

The visitors were awarded a penalty on the 83rd minute following a foul in the penalty box.

Stephen Owusu stepped up and convert it nicely to reduce the deficit.

Wonders held on to their lead till the blast of the final whistle.
