Match Report : Elmina Sharks 1-0 Ebusua Dwarfs – Benjamin Boateng’s late penalty hands Sharks the bragging right

Elmina Sharks defeated Ebusua Dwarfs by 1-0 in matchday 18 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

A late strike from the spot by Benjamin Boateng secured the bragging rights for the Ndoum Boys on the day.

It was Elmina Sharks who started the game very well and asking the visitors a lot of questions.

Alhaji Mustapha had the first chance of the game but his shot went wide.

It was the home team who dominated the first half but couldn’t find the back of the net.

After the break, the visitors lifted up their performance and began to incursions.

Elmina Sharks defended gallantly and made things difficult for the visitors.

The home team were rewarded a penalty in the 87th minute after Alhaji Mustapha was brought down in the penalty box.

Banjamin Boateng stepped up and convert it nicely to give his side the lead.
