Match Report : Hearts of Oak 2-0 King Faisal – Phobians beat King Faisal to return to winning ways

Hearts of Oak returned to winning ways by beating King Faisal 2-0 in matchday 23 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Two second half strike from Kwadwo Obeng Junior and Daniel Barnie gave the Phobians a comfortable win at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Benjamin Afutu had the first chance of the game on the 13th minute but his header went straight in the hands of Danlad Ibrahim.

Salifu Ibrahim’s came close shoot a powerful  freekick  but effort smashed the cross bar.

King Faisal had a golden opportunity to go ahead but Zubairu Ibrahim’s shot went wide.

After the break,Hearts of Oak came close with Obeng Junior’s shot smashing the crossbar.

Obeng Junior finally got the opener for the host in the 63rd minute tapping a home a pass from Afriyie Barnie.

Substitute Afriyie Barnie made it 2-0 on the 90th minute as the Phobians ease to victory on the day.
