Match Report : Karela United 2-1 Bechem United – Diawisie Taylor on target as Karela United end winless run
Karela United ended their five games winless run in the Ghana Premier League with a 2-1 win over Bechem United.
Goals from Diawisie Taylor and Reginald Thompson handed the Ayinase based side a hard-fought win, Charles Mensah got the consolation for the visitors.
The home team took an early lead in the game through Diawisie Taylor.
Taylor converted nicely from the spot to break his goalscoring drought.
Charles Mensah restored Parity for the visitors on the 28th minute finishing home a good team move.
The visitors were reduced to 10 men on the brink of halftime, Skipper Moro Salifu was sent off a dangerous tackle.
After the break, the home team kept pushing for the winner creating a lot of goalscoring opportunities.
Kwame Boateng came close again but his shot went wide.
Karela United got the winner on the 75th minute through substitute Reginald Thompson, the midfielder score a essy tap in to restored his side lead.
The home team kept their cool by maintaining their lead till the blast of the full-time whistle.
