Match Report : King Faisal 0-0 WAFA – Insha Allah boys held at home by the Academy lads

King Faisal were held to 0-0 draw against WAFA in matchday 18 of the Ghana Premier League.

In a match the Insha Allah boys squandered a lot of opportunities despite been forced to make all their substitution in the first half.

King Faisal could have taken an early lead just two minutes after kick off but Frg Kwadwo Frimpong’s header was parried away by Osei Kwadwo.

WAFA came close few minute later Augestine Boakye outwitted to markers and set up Lawrence Agyakum in the penalty box but his shot went wide.

King Faisal were forced to make two substitution before the half hour mark, Kwame Peprah and Toufic Razak couldn’t continue and were replaced by Atta Kusi and Sulley Mohammed.

Few minute later,  Franklyn Osei was also forced to come off due to injury  with Ahmed Alim taking his place.

The first half ended 0-0

In the second half, King Faisal created a lot of chances but failed to find the back of the net.

Bernard Morrison had a golden opportunity in the 68th minute but he blasted the shot away.

Kwadwo Frimpong came close in the 85th minute but the Impressive Osei Kwadwo did well to denied him.

WAFA held on to till the blast of the final whistle.
