Liberty Professionals thumped Elimina Sharks by 4-0 to keep their survival chance alive in the Ghana Premier League.

The Scientific Soccer lads put up a five star performance to hand Odartey Lamptey’s side a defeat at the WAFA Park

It was Liberty who started the game very well dominating proceedings.

Abraham Wayo could have fired the host ahead in the 4th minute but his shot was saved by Bawa Martey.

The visitors grew up in the game and started causing troubles for Liberty Professionals.

Liberty took the lead on the 36th minute through Paul Kwame, the midfielder headed home a cross to give the host the lead.

The host maintained their lead till the blast of the final of whistle.

After the break, the host kept on pilling pressure on the visitors as looking to double their lead.

Simon Appiah made it 2-0 for the host in the 60th minute.

Liberty were awarded a penalty in the 80th minute and Kwame Karikari made no mistake from the spot by making it 3-0.

Substitute William Opoku Mensah added the fourth a minute to full-time wrapped up an excellent performance on the day.
