Medeama release nominees for December’s Best Player of the Month award
Ghana Premier League side, Medeama have released a list of six shortlisted players for the club’s December Player of the Month Award.
The list was posted on the Club’s official website, medeamasc.org, and features players who had outstanding performances in the GPL for the month of December 2021.
The list includes : Kwasi Donsu, Vincent Atinga, Ahmed Toure, Ansu Kofi Patric, Benjamin Abaidoo and GPL clean sheet record holder Mandjui Boris Jnr.
Kwasi Donsu’s has had an outstanding performance so far in the 2021/22 GPL season. He is yet to score a goal in this campaign but has contributed massively in terms of chance creations.
Vincent Atinga is at the center of Medeama’s Defense this Season and has helped the club to concede just 7 goals in 13 matches, the best tally in the GPL so far.
Ahmed Toure scored a wonder goal at the Akoon Park when Medeama SC won over Aduana Stars on boxing day last year.
Ansu Kofi Patric performance this season is superb. He has 2 goals to his name so far this season. Ansu scored early in the 17min to bring down the morale of RTU when Medeama travelled to Tamale to grab 3pts from the in form RTU boys.
Abaidoo has been rock solid in Defense this season, He has played in 10 GPL fixtures so far this season and has accumulated over 900mins this season.
Boris Mandjui Jnr is the current record holder in the GPL in terms of consecutive clean sheets (5). He conceded just 1 goal in December and has a total of 9 clean sheets this season with 13 matches played.
