Midfielder Thomas Partey praises teammate Saka

Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey has praised English youngster Bukayo Saka’s abilities.

Partey feels Saka is a fantastic player who can push the London based club far if he can keep his form.

“I think he is doing a great job. I hope he stays with us for a long time and does what he can, and tries to take this team far,” Partey told the Standard.

“I think we are mentally strong. We want to go game after game and this is what we are doing. I hope we continue with this form. We knew coming here it was not going to be easy. We tried to do our best and we tried to control the game,” he added.

Partey and Saka were both shortlisted for Arsenal Player of the Month in February, but the Ghanaian took home the award.

Thomas Partey has played a very major role in Arsenal’s journey for top four finish this year. The midfielder has received praises from Gunner fans and coach Mikel Arteta.
