Mubarak Wakaso donates to Tamale Real Republicans with Football equipment and Materials
Ghana Black Stars midfielder, Wakaso Mubarak has made a donation his former club, Tamale Real Republicans on Tuesday.
The hard-working midfielder presented three (3) sets of customized jerseys, footballs, markers and cones to his former team, Tamale Real Republicans.
Wakaso who is a product of Real Republicans made the presentation on Tuesday, 14th September, 2021 at the club’s training grounds at Kaladan Park, Tamale.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Mubarak Wakaso said “ this is the club I once played for, I feel good seeing you like this because I know one day many of you will go pass where I am today”.
The Chief Executive Officer of the club, Coach Alhassan Dawuo expressed his gratitude on behalf of the management and players of the club to the former player for always coming to their aid. He urged the young players to also aspire to be like Wakaso.
Mubarak Wakaso is also the sole sponsor of ‘Wakaso Annual Challenge Cup’ organized by Tamale Metro Football Association for Under-15 clubs. The finals of the competition shall be between Tamale Real Republicans and Great Eagles on Thursday, 16th September 2021 at the Tamale Kaladan Park.

Wakaso also presented an undisclosed amount of money to the U-15 team ahead of their final match on Thursday.
The 31 year old currently plies his trade with Chinese Super League side Shenzhen FC.
