My priority is to play for the Ghana national team – Richard Asare

Ghanaian defender, Richard Asare has disclosed that his priority at this point in his career is to play for the Ghana national team.

The defender is currently a transfer target of a number of clubs in Europe including Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven.

Speaking to Ashh FM in an interview, Richard Asare says he is aiming to work hard to merit a national team call-up to play for the Black Stars.

“It’s my dream and priority to serve my National team, though am not too much eager but it’s my dream to play for the Senior National team Black Stars. I know with my inclusion and the hardwork of the other players we can raise high the flag of Ghana,” the defender shared.

On the transfer speculations, Richard Asare disclosed that he wants to sign for a good club that will help progress his career.

“As a player your first plan is to get a good club where you can get more playing time to boost your career. I have several offers on the table at the moment but I leave all to my Manager.

“Clubs from the Belgium league, Sweden, and France have approached me but we are still on course for the better,” Richard Asare who is now a free agent said.
