Nantes have to get more points at home- Dennis Appiah

Ghanaian full back Dennis Appiah has highlighted the importance of his team, Nantes, earning more points at home this season.

They managed to secure an impressive away win at Metz after holding Monaco to a 1-1 in the previous game week.

Appiah, 29, understood that their latest feat was impressive but stated the need to improve home form.

“It’s good to get points away from home but I think what the team lacked last year was that we couldn’t improve our results at home. There, we were able to do it in front of our home crowd. It’s always important to have a successful home debut. We were able to do it with style, mastery. The audience was with us, behind us and that really fun.”

Appiah has made three appearances in the league so far.
