Osman Bukari earns maiden Ghana call up for SA and Sao Tome AFCON Qualifiers

Black Stars coach Charles Akonnor has invited  Gent midfielder Osman Bukari for Ghana’s AFCON qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome later this month.

Bukari 24, will be looking to make his debut for the senior national team following his outstanding performance in the Belgian League.

He is among five other foreign-based players to receive a maiden call up from Black Stars coach Akonnor  for the doubleheader next week.

The former Accra Lions winger has made 24 appearances, scored four goals and registered six assists in the ongoing season.

He has already featured for the Black Meteors during the Tokyo Olympic qualifiers.

The other debutants are  Stephen Ambrosius (Hamburger SV), Kamal Sowah (OH Leuven), Kwasi Okyere Wriedt  (Willem II), Kwame Afriyie Opoku (Colchester United) and Emmanuel Gyasi (Spezia FC).
