Pictures: Ghana fly to South Africa without five players

On Saturday morning, twenty-five (25) players departed Ghana for the second game of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Bafana Bafana.

The four-time Africa Cup of Nations champions began their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign with a resounding victory against Ethiopia on Friday night at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Because South Africa is on the COVID-19 red list of the listed countries, the squad will go without the English and German-based players, who will have to isolate for 10 days when they return to their respective clubs.

Daniel Amartey, Jordan Ayew, Jeffrey Schlupp, Andy Yiadom, Baba Rahman, Braydon Manu, and Daniel Kofi Kyereh were the players that were unable to travel due to Coronavirus restrictions.
