Player Ratings : Ghana 1- 0 Gambia – Percious Boah shines as Satellites book final spot
Black Satellites sealed their qualifications to the final of the U20 AFCON following a 1-0 win against Gambia on Monday.
Percious Boah scored a beautiful free Kick in the first half to secure the hard fought victory for Ghana.

21. Danlad Ibrahim ( 7/10) – Was kept busy throughout the first half but Danlad was equally up to the task. The Asante Kotoko goalkeeper was at his best on the day producing some good saves to denied the Gambians.
2. Philomon Baffour (6/10)- Did more of the attacking than defending. Baffour contributed a lot in attack as Ghana push the Gambians in the early stages.
5. Frank Kwabena Assinki ( 7/10) – Another Solid display by HB Koge defender. Assinki was dominated in the air and won almost all the serial duels in the penalty box. Made a lot blocks to stop the Gambians shots.
26. Uzair Alhassan (6 /10) – Maintained his place ahead of Nathaniel Adjei. His understanding with Assinki keeps growing better by each day. The youngster had a very good game at the back stopping almost all the Gambians attack.
23. Samuel Abbey-Ashie Quaye ( 6/10) – The Olympics defender did more of the defending as the Gambians use his side more. Quaye stood his ground and dealt with all the threat posed to him.
6. Emmanuel Essiam ( 6/10)- Played more in advance today and contributed more in attack. Essiam was the link between the midfield and the attack with some good passes in the midfield.
13. Patrick Mensah ( 6/10) – Solid display by Patrick. Went about his buisness without putting any foot wrong. Got his passes and distributions on point.
22. Abdul Fatawu Issahaku ( 6/10) – the talented attacker was lively in the early stages of the game causing a lot of problems to the Gambians defense. Came close on two occasions but a great defending by the Gambians denied him. Nearly score a beautiful from his half but his efforts went wide.
11. Sulemana Mohammed (6/10)- Put back to the starting line up after missing the quarter finals against Cameroon. Suleman was actively involved in the left side but wasn’t up to his best on the day. Was subbed off after the half hour mark.
9. Percious Boah (7/10)- Broke the deadlock of the game with a powerful free kick on the edge of the box. Could have one or two but for wondeful goalkeeping denied him. Improve performance compare to his previous two games.
10. Daniel Afriyie Barnie (C) – (6/10) – Justified why he should be starting ahead of Barnes. The Hearts of Oak attacker worked very hard for the team. His combination with Boah give the team more attacking option with his ability to hold the ball and face his marker.
Reserves
Frank Baoteng ( 4/10)- Didn’t make any impact in the game.
Mathew Anim (5 /10)- Came with determination by causing a lot of troubles to the Gambia defense. Won many fouls which frustrated the Gambians in the die embers of the game.
Joselpho Barnes ( 5/10)- He had two opportunities to score but failed to utilize his chances.
