Outspoken Ghanaian trainer J.E Sarpong has insisted playing the Ghana Premier League matches simultaneously wouldn’t change anything.

His comments comes after Hearts of Oak midfielder Emmanuel Nettey appealed to the Ghana Football Association to allow the club’s competing for the League title to hold their games at the same time.

Nettey after the Olympics game said,  “Sometimes we feel pressured playing the last game of the day because others know their results. If we play at the same time it is going to help because that is what is done around the world with few matches to end the season”

“This will ensure that there would be no influences from outside, so I think it would help if matches are played at the same time,’’ he said at a post-match press conference

But the former Liberty Professionals coach believes playing the games simultaneously will change nothing to the current happenings in the League.

“Playing simultaneously wouldn’t change anything. When teams want to do their operations they will still do it”

“Don’t underate the intelligence of a Ghanaian. Even if played at night they will get the results”
