Playing with the Italian U21 team is a fantastic experience – Kelvin Yeboah

Kelvin Yeboah, the Genoa striker, made various statements to Goal. The striker discussed his debut year with the national team and his future plans.

The former Sturm Graz striker said his first year with the national side was a great feeling.

“It was a great feeling to be with the coach and I already knew many of my teammates, the level was really very high. I spoke to De Rossi who gave me advice. Being in the national team is a fantastic experience,”

On his bad run with Genoa in the Serie A this season Yeboah said it was a difficult year.

“It was a difficult year, then after the national team we will talk to the club to make the best decision for the future,”

On 3 September 2021, he made his debut with the Italy U21 squad, playing as a substitute in the qualifying match won 3-0 against Luxembourg.
