Recovering Baba Iddrisu a doubt for Mallorca’s trip to Betis this weekend
Ghana international, Baba Iddrisu is a doubt for RCD Mallorca’s clash against Real Betis this weekend although there has been positive news on his recovery.
The midfielder has been out with an injury for a while and missed his team’s massive 3-2 victory against Athletic Club in Son Moix on Monday.
Today, the player has shown progress in his recovery process and is even doing light training according to sources.
Despite the good news, Baba Iddrisu is not expected to be fully fit by the end of the week.
As a result, he is unlikely to feature in the RCD Mallorca encounter against Real Betis on Sunday, February 20, 2022.
He should, however, be in a good shape to return to action for his team the following week.
That means he will have the time to pick up the pace before Ghana takes on Nigeria in the final qualifying round for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
