Richard Ofori to undergo tests today to determine extend of injury
Ghana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Richard Ofori will undergo scans today to determine the extend of the injury he sustained when South Africa played the Black Stars of Ghana.
Ofori suffered an injury as Ghana lost 1-0 to South Africa in a crucial 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Monday at the FnB stadium.
The 27-year-old was replaced by FC St. Gallen shot-stopper Lawrence Ati-Zigi in the 75th minutes after failing to continue the game.
Maritzburg United centre forward Bongokuhle Hlongwane scored the only goal of the match with six minutes left to play.
Ofori will therefore go on the scans to determine the extent of his injury.
He has become a major doubt for Orlando Pirates ahead of their game against Swallows FC in Premier Soccer League on Saturday.
