Ruben Hennessy adjudged MOTM in Tema Youth 3-2 truimph over Susubiribi in Division One

Tema Youth’s dependable centre back, Ruben Hennessy was adjudged the Man of the Match (MOTM) in his side’s 3-2 truimph over Susubiribi Sporting Club in the Division One match day four clash in Zone 3 on Saturday.

The former Real Athletico man put up a blistering performance for the Harbour City lads having formed a formidable pair with Philip Ofori.

Susubiribi broke the deadlock in the 3rd minute through Collins Kofi Kudjoe before Stephen Appiah Asare levelled for Tema Youth in the 20th minute at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena.

Jeremiah Akorful made it 2-1 in the 59th minute but Seth Kumah cancelled out the lead in the 82nd with a solo effort before wonderkid Emmanuel Mammah broke the hearts of the visitors with the late winner for the one-time Premier League side in the 90th minute to seal their third victory.

Hennessy has featured in all four games and was also awarded the best defender in the Division One Super Cup held in October this year.
