Salifu Ibrahim pays tribute to XI Wonders, Hearts of Oak team-mates after NASCO award
Salifu Ibrahim has thanked his Eleven Wonders and Hearts of Oak team-mates after he was named NASCO Ghana Premier League Player of the Season.
The 21 year old was crowned at a brief ceremony held on Monday at the office of Electroland Ghana after his sensational performances in the 2020/21 campaign for both clubs.
The talented playmaker took the accolade ahead of WAFA’s Augustine Boakye and Hearts teammates Benjamin Afutu and Gladson Awako.
✨I am very glad to receive this award. Thanks to all my teammates & technical team members @Txiwonders & @HeartsOfOakGH who helped in making this dream possible.

He played 33 matches, scoring three goals, providing eight assists with eight MVP awards.
Salifu began the season with Wonders before making the switch to Hearts of Oak during the second transfer window.
His arrival coincided with the club’s upturn in fortunes. The midfielder played an instrumental role as the Phobians won the Ghana Premier League as well as the MTN FA Cup.
The accolade sees Salifu add to his Ghana Football Awards home-based Player of the Year gong which he collected in July.
