Samuel Frimpong extends stay with Kotoko
Asante Kotoko SC defender Samuel Frimpong has extended his stay with the club for a further two years, the Porcupine Warriors have announced.
Frimpong had few months left on his contract to be expired but after fruitful discussions, the right-back has penned a new deal.
The 23-year-old defender joined Asante Kotoko in 2018 from second-tier side Bekwai Youth Football Academy.
Frimpong spent the 2019/2020 season on loan at Karela United FC before returning to the Porcupine Warriors in January 2020.
The versatile footballer has been a key member of the team in the Ghana Premier League this campaign.
He has made 15 appearances for the Reds this season.
