SC Paderborn will help you develop your potential – Fabian Wohlgemuth on new signing Kelvin Ofori
SC Paderborn Sporting Director, Fabian Wohlgemuth has expressed his eagerness to develop the potential of Ghanaian attacker Kelvin Ofori.
Ofori joined the Bundesliga 2. side Fortuna Dusseldorf on a season-long loan deal after passing his medical.
The 20-year-old has been with Fortuna Dusseldorf for the past two seasons as a member of the senior team.
“We explored the market intensively in order to sign an offensive player with strong dribbling skills,” Fabian Wohlgemuth told the club’s official website.
“Kelvin has the advantage that he has already trained at the second division level and can be used flexibly on the offensive. He is another alternative in our squad. We want develop your potential in Paderborn.”
Ofori joins the club as a replacement fellow Ghanaian international Christopher Antwi-Adjei moved to Bundesliga newcomers VfL Bochum.
He is a product of the famous Right to Dream Academy and played a total of 27 games with Duesseldorf during his two years’ stay at the club. He joined Duesseldorf in 2019.
