Solomon Asante makes touching dedication to mothers after Phoenix Rising FC win
In what is a heartwarming move, Ghanaian attacker Solomon Asante has made a special dedication to mothers worldwide.
Ghana joins the world to celebrate ‘Mothers Day’ on Sunday May 9, and the Phoenix Rising player has joined the large pool of well wishers to mothers across the globe.
Asante, a former Berekum Chelsea and TP Mazembe attacker played a crucial part for his side, as he netted a brace in their 3-0 win over Oakland Roots FC in the USL Championship on Saturday night.
After his splendid performance, he was named Man of the Match and in the aftermath of the game, Asante took to his official Twitter handle to dedicate his side’s win to all mothers.
He tweeted,
Thanks be to God and team @PHXRisingFC . Dedicates victory to All Mothers especially my wife and girls (Ghana). Mothers with @PHXRisingFC@BandidosPHX@union602 . Your love is unconditional.❤️💙🙏 #MothersDay #RisingAsOne #RisingTogether @didierdrogba @cwoz1 @PFAGofficial pic.twitter.com/Kv6TDaOJZ1
