South Africa v Ghana: CK Akonnor to name unrecognisable starting eleven to face Bafana Bafana
Ghana head coach CK Akonnor will on Monday name an unrecognizable starting eleven to face South Africa.
The national teams of the two countries will tomorrow be in action in Johannesburg for the second fixture in Group G of the Africa qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Last Friday when Ghana hosted the Walia ibex of Ethiopia at the Cape Coast Stadium, the Black Stars won 1-0 at the end of the 90 minutes.
In that game, coach CK Akonnor fielded a starting eleven that had Richard Ofori in post
There was Andy Yiadom, Baba Rahman, Daniel Amartey and Alexander Djiku at the back
Wakaso, Iddrisu, Kamal Deen and Schlupp played in the midfield with Andre and Jordan Ayew handed roles upfront
Although that was a strong team, Ghana will not have the same players for the South Africa encounter.
With the exclusion of Jordan Ayew, Daniel Amartey, and Jeffrey Schlupp, Ghana coach CK Akonnor will tomorrow likely name an unrecognizable starting eleven for the Bafana Bafana meeting.
